<big>J</big>ohane Masowe (John of the wilderness) Chishanu (Holy Friday) is an Apostolic <span lang="sn" dir="ltr">Church</span> that follows and believes in God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Johane Masowe Chishanu was established in <span lang="sn">the</span> year 1931 in Zimbabwe(<span lang="sn" dir="ltr">Gandanzara</span>) and now has branches in many other countries like South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, the United Kingdom, etc. Our congregants are recognized by their white garments and gatherings in a open spaces for church services, although some apostles gather in halls or closed areas for services due to different national constitutions. We honor Holy Friday because it the day our Lord Jesus Christ was crucified on the Cross. The apostles worship on Friday and keep Holy beginning from 15:00 Thursday up to midnight on Friday.
